Bigfoot Scuba’s story is rooted in Daniel Bray’s own path from a new Oregon diver to a Philippines dive guide, Pacific Northwest Divemaster and SDI Instructor.
With more than 1,800 dives, Daniel has explored cold Pacific Northwest water, tropical reefs in the Philippines, Hawaii and the Caribbean, and freshwater lakes. That experience includes shore and boat diving, low visibility, deep and drift dives, altitude diving, night diving and the everyday problem-solving that makes a well-rounded diver.
Today, Bigfoot Scuba serves divers throughout western Oregon with mobile instruction, guided local adventures, first aid and CPR training, equipment support and carefully planned dive travel.

Guiding in the Philippines
After progressing through advanced training and professional development, Daniel worked as a dive guide with ProDive Davao in the Philippines. Months spent guiding tropical reefs added a new dimension to years of Pacific Northwest diving.
Leading divers in Oregon
Back in Oregon, Daniel worked as a Divemaster and dive guide, supporting classes and helping divers build experience in the cold water, changing conditions and limited visibility that define local diving.
Becoming an SDI Instructor
Daniel earned his SDI Instructor certification and began teaching divers from their first pool session through continuing education and professional-level training.

Bigfoot Scuba brings that local and international experience together through patient instruction, Oregon dive adventures and small-group travel built around capable, confident divers.
